The comment provided by Joob and Wiwanitkit contains serious factual errors that need to be urgently corrected to prevent harm to patients.1 Their claim that ‘there is no case of SLE with covid-19’ is false. It is puzzling how they can make such a claim without providing supporting evidence. An initial analysis of patients included in the COVID-19 Global Rheumatology Alliance registry shows that 19 (17%) of 110 patients with rheumatic diseases who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 as of 1 April 2020 were patients.
